Hello There

You’re probably here because you know me personally or have read my posts at Lifehacker.

I’m currently in a transitional phase of life; for years I toiled away in various cubicles at various accounting and tech jobs, but nothing worth calling a career. Currently I spend my days doing accounts payable work at Erwin Penland Advertising and was fortunate enough to land a job as the weekend writer at Lifehacker, one of the biggest blogs in the world. Working seven days a week kind of sucks, but it won’t be forever.

I live in Greenville, South Carolina with my beautiful wife Megan and children Joshua and Penelope. I have little time for hobbies these days but have spent many hours in the past gaming, homebrewing, camping, reading, recreating the middle ages, learning about intentional communities, making Indian food, and writing novels. I’m Eastern Orthodox and very active in my church.

According to the people at Meyers-Briggs, I’m an ENTJ. You’ll understand if you meet me.
